Frequently Asked Questions

What services do you provide?

We are pleased to be able to provide a broad range of services. We encourage you to check out our services page!

What is your process and how do we get started?

Typically, our first engagement with a potential client starts with a phone call to learn more about the scope of the project (e.g. budget, timeline, etc) and the client's aspirations. Should the client wish to proceed with a project, Rock Point Landscapes offers a flexible and iterative design and build process that best suits the client's needs. This usually involves multiple site visits and ongoing consultations to provide the best possible outcome.
If you are interested in talking to us about your landscaping needs, please give us a call or send us an e-mail!

What is included in a landscape design?

Our design process can be characterized by two phases. The first, the preliminary landscape plan, will include the mapping of all existing features and characteristics of your property. It will also incorporate the desired changes. This is an iterative process, so revisions will be made as needed. The second phase, the landscape development plan, will provide the client with a more detailed plan. This plan will typically include planting recommendations, wood working details, and hardscape specifications. This refined plan will also allow us to provide you with an itemized landscape quotation. Revisions can also be made at this phase, before construction begins.

Do you do lawn and garden maintenance?

Rock Point Landscapes is pleased to incorporate garden renovations and lawn repairs as part of the construction project. However, Rock Point Landscapes does not currently offer maintenance packages. We would be more than happy to recommend local companies who offer these services.

What makes you different from other contractors?

Rock Point Landscapes is unique in that it is able to provide clients with the full spectrum of services as they relate to landscape design and construction. In this sense, members of our team will be engaged with clients throughout the entire process, ensuring continuity and delivery of high-quality services.
